Daniel is an old soul, kind and loving. He is a son, brother, fiancee and good friend to so many. He worked as an delivery driver for a global company, like most, doing his best to get by and create a good life for himself and his family. Most know him for his love of being outdoors; whether it be hiking, camping, kayaking or exploring new National Parks. Daniel is a very special person and can make anyone laugh and have a good time.

On May 17th, 2021 Daniel's day began with his first of three seizures; he's never had them in his life before. He had to be rushed to the near-by ER by ambulance. While there, doctors took images of his head and also conducted a biopsy on his left nostril on May 21st. The lab results had to be passed along to specialists because the form of cancer he has is so rare, making it difficult to come up with a plan of attack.

On Friday, June 11th Daniel had a consultation with one of the three surgeons that will be operating on him. While there, a scope was stuck up his left nostril showcasing part of the malignant tumor that is impacting his nasal cavity and pushing on the left side of his brain. After more imaging, the surgeon gave us options and Daniel elected to go the surgical route.

There are many risks that come along with this surgery because of where the tumor is located, including the possibility that Daniel will lose his left eye. This will no doubt be a marathon that will take every ounce of strength Daniel has, but his family and friends are confident he can do it!

We don't know how long Daniel will be out of work, we know for sure he can't drive for at least 6 months after May 17th when he had his seizures. Any help/donations would be a blessing to Daniel and his family, as he currently is incapable of working and medical bills are continuing to come in.

Below is a picture taken on Sunday, June 27th (the day this was posted) showing what Daniel's face currently looks like. As you can see the tumor and swelling is impossible to miss.

Daniel is only 30 years old and this whole situation has flipped he and his loved ones' worlds completely upside down. Life is so short and precious. We truly appreciate anyone that helps us during this time of need in our lives. His surgery date is scheduled for Tuesday, July 13th.
