Daniel is 21 years old and was run over by a car when he was walking on the sidewalk on a street in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York. He is in critical condition at Elmhurst Hospital. On June 21, one of his legs was amputated and he will need various other surgeries for the internal injuries he suffered.  Daniel has no family here in the USA to help with the medical expenses and to care for him. He is in danger of losing his apartment as his rehabilitation will be extensive and will take many months.

Daniel fue arrollado por un carro cuando se encontraba tranquilamente caminando por una calle de Jackson Heights, Queens, NY.  Daniel se encuentra recluido en Elmhust Hospital y su estado es crítico. El  Viernes 21 de junio, los médicos tuvieron que amputarle una de sus piernas . Daniel no tiene a nadie en Estados Unidos .
