HELP DAN WISNIEWSKI BEAT STAGE 3 PROSTATE CANCER

Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,

We are reaching out to you because we have started a GoFundMe page for our Dad/Stepdad, Daniel A. Wisniewski.

To say that 2021 has been a challenging year for our Mom & Dad would be an understatement.  Soon after Moms (Joyce) brother suddenly passed away, we learned that our Dad has stage 3 prostate cancer that has spread to the vesicle gland on the left side behind the prostate.  Initially we were told that the cancer had not spread, but on March 26th we received devastating news that it was just the opposite. Dan will endure extensive treatments over the next 18 months. His treatments will include 5 day a week radiation treatments, hormone shots, chemotherapy, and the possibility of surgery.

It is hard for us to imagine the difficult journey ahead for them. Unfortunately, to further stretch matters, Dan will not have health insurance coverage until June 2021. After health insurance comes into play, there will continue to be many things that will not be covered, and so we are humbly asking for your help.

Dan is a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness, generosity and willingness to lend a hand has always been there for those who’ve needed his help.  As his children, we can’t possibly give back all that he has provided to us over the years.  Dan needs us all to rally around him with love, support and prayers in his greatest time of need.  The reality, however, is that there is a fast-growing mountain of financial burdens that come along with the needed treatments. The need is far greater than the amount they have saved up.

We humbly ask for any donation you can contribute to help offset future medical bills and possible loss of the ability to work.  We understand that not everyone will be in a position to financially donate in these difficult times. Above all, we are grateful for your continued love, support, and prayers for our dad/stepdad as we walk this journey alongside him.

“Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.” – Thich Nhat Hanh
