Dan Mahoney from Rockport, currently living in Gloucester, was struck down in the prime of his life by a degenerative incurable disease which causes bleeding and blood clots in the brain and spine. He can no longer walk, hear, or talk. He is being cared for by his wife who is also permanently disabled.
Daniel spent every day helping others, asking nothing in return. He is a military veteran. Daniel and his wife need help paying for living costs, medical needs, transportation, food, housing, and other essentials. I’m sure there are many people in the Cape Ann community who would like to help out and don’t know about his situation or how they could help.
I created this fundraiser to try to help my old friend and give others the ability to help as well. Even very small donations will be very welcome and make a difference for him.
