Help Dan & Shari Rebuild After McKinley Fire

Hi Everyone!
My name is Brytnee & I’m Dan’s daughter.
Dan is my father. Not by blood and not even by marriage anymore. See, he and my mother divorced when I was very young - However, to give you an idea of the type of man he is - this man has NEVER stopped loving me, caring for me or being my dad! I’m nearly 34 & he’s still there, loving me every minute of every single day!
Shari, his wife - Is also equally amazing. They’ve been married for over 20 years - She’s a loving woman!
They are both truly truly amazingly kind, loving, GIVING, thoughtful people. They’ve often housed homeless or taken in those who have no where else to go. They have many “grandchildren” whom aren’t even biologically related because they are just THAT amazing! Family is not defined by the blood in your veins, but the love in your heart ♥️
Sadly, they lost everything they owned in the McKinley fire that swept through Caswell. They lived right near MP 86.5 right along the roadway, they’re home & property is a complete loss. Everything they owned aside from the clothes on their backs, their vehicle and my dads medication is gone.
My dad has stage 4 Pancreatic cancer & is currently in chemo treatment. I’m just trying to do my part & help them have something to come back too! I can’t imagine losing everything but to lose everything while having cancer and enduring chemo where you’re constantly sick is just so much harder!!
Im not sure if putting $10,000 is the correct number because how much money does it really take to rebuild your life? What’s important to me is that we can buy lumber and rebuild them something before winter hits! Lets help them furnish their home with a bed, stove, etc. - I want my dad to be able to live not just survive.
