Help Damareyon come home

Hello everyone. I am Damareyon Harris's mother. My son was shot on March 20, 2023 His first day of spring break. He was shot walking to the store by another teen. He was rushed to JRMC ER. Afterward he was airlifted to the Children's hospital in Little Rock, AR where he is currently still receiving treatment. He has undergone several surgeries but he will still have to have more in the future. Damareyon is a good kid. He's always happy and a great help at home with his siblings. He enjoys playing sports. He was on the football and track team at his school. Due to this shooting taking place, he may not be able to play sports again which is something he truly loves. Damareyon is our miracle. He is loved by family, friends, and peers. Damareyon was looking forward to graduating high school , attending college and hopefully be drafted to the NFL. Damareyon has to learn how to use his motor skills again and has started therapy to do so.  This has affected him not only physically but mentally and emotionally. He has half a skull and has to have the surgery for it to be replaced. We are unaware of what other surgeries he may have to have. This will be a process for him as he continues to recover. Life for him is different and difficult for him to cope with. As Damareyon continues to progress he still has a long road ahead of him. He is a living testimony and it is a blessing to still have him here with us and we thank God everyday for that. We also thank God for allowing him another chance at life. We are thankful for all the prayers and support that we have received. The funds from this account will be  used for medical expenses, therapy , transportation expenses, and other expenses. And thank you all for the help as we take this road to recovery. Continue to keep us uplifted in prayers.
