<div>A few days ago, Dallas suddenly stopped being able to pee. He was rushed to the vet, where imaging revealed large bladder stones — so big that he could not pass them on his own. This condition is extremely painful and can become life-threatening within hours.

<div>Because surgery could not be performed right away, he needed:

<div>•	Overnight hospitalization
</div>
<div>•	IV fluids
</div>
<div>•	Pain medication
</div>
<div>•	Catheter placement

<div>•	Blood work &amp; imaging
</div>
<div>•	Continuous monitoring until surgery was possible

<div>When a surgical opening finally became available, Dallas underwent a cystotomy, a major procedure to open the bladder and remove the stones. The surgery alone was $7,000, and the total cost for his care is now close to $10,000.

<div>My in-laws love Dallas deeply and did everything to save his life, but this sudden emergency has created a financial burden far beyond what they can manage alone.
