Help Dalilah in her time of need

Donation protected
Losing a parent is one of the hardest things many of us will go through in our life and it is even harder when their passing is sudden and we are in the prime of our youth. On Feb 18th, Dalilah lost her father Marty in a tragic motor vehicle accident.

Dalilah, who just turned 21 and has been supporting herself for five years already and recently completed a one-year music program, was not prepared for dealing with such a traumatic event. Before the loss of her father, working full time wasn’t a struggle and she even loves her job, but the thought of working 40-hour weeks so soon just isn’t feasible for her emotional state.

Some things to keep in mind:

★  Dalilah will continue to work but will be going to a part-time schedule so she can have the time she needs to grieve and rest.
★  Her rent is high and the cost of living in Vancouver is crazy to maintain without a full-time work schedule.
★  She plans on seeking help with her grieving process and that costs $150/week

At a time like this, there is very little anyone can do or say to ease the pain, other than allow her to rest and be gentle with herself and life in general. This is where we come in! So all of us who love Dalilah and want to support her in her healing process, let’s show up for her and make the next few months a little easier on her in this really tough time. Let’s let her know that we’ve got her back!
