Dale Herron, a dedicated and loving single father, recently faced a life-threatening accident while pre-running for the Baja 500 in Ensenada, Mexico. This tragic event has left him with five broken and floating ribs and a collapsed lung, requiring immediate life-saving surgery. Dale's passion for motocross has always been a way to honor his two brothers, Jon and Steve, and his nephew, Lyon, whom he tragically lost in the past. Motocross has been the thread that binds their memories together, and Dale was riding in their honor when the accident occurred.

 Dale is known for his warm and humble nature, always ready to lend a helping hand to others. As a hardworking blue-collar construction worker, this accident has not only impacted his health but also his ability to provide for his family. With his US insurance not covering the hospital stay and procedures, and his race insurance not yet in effect, the financial burden is overwhelming. The medi-vac is crucial to safely transport him to UCSD for further treatment, but it is not covered by insurance. Additionally, Dale will be out of work for months, needing support to stay afloat during his recovery.
