<li>My name is Dale, and I am 55 years old.
I have worked hard all my life, to provide for my family and to then enjoy walks and outdoor activities in the countryside.
Unfortunately 6 years ago is was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis, This is a condition where the spinal column narrows and puts pressure on the spinal cord resulting in pain/weakness/cramps in my arms, legs and back.

<li>I had surgery to correct this and open up this space but the surgeon accidentality managed to "nick" my spinal cord resulting in a Spinal Cord Injury.
This severely impacted my life, I am unable to stand for very long without getting spasms, and need to spend 90% of my time sitting down.
I have gone from being an outside person to one that has to stay in.
The last 5 years have seen my mental health get quite low and I am looking for ways to lift my mood.
I am very lucky to live in a beautiful location, Church Stretton in Shropshire, we have hills all around us and I would love nothing more than accessing these hills with my best mate, Baz the dog.
I am trying to raise funds to purchase a second hand all terrain mobility scooter that will allow me and Baz to venture out into the hills and do things just like any abled body person can do. These machines are not cheap, even second hand ones but with your help I am hopeful of achieving my aim of £15000-£20,000The Lady Forrester Trust has donated £1000 and very kindly agreed to add £4000 to the fund after I have managed to raise £6000.
To date "we" have raised £7,212 and hope with your generosity I can get closer to my dream.  Thank you.
