Help Dakotas Rehabilitation

If you have the privilege of knowing our Dakota you know he is full of nothing but love. There has been a traumatic accident that we are all still working thru. Dakota is currently at one of the top ranked neurological hospitals in the country. Luckily it is located in Denver. We don't really know what to expect yet, but we know this is going to be a hard and long recovery process. There is brain damage, but we have faith that it will be reversed. The brain is beautiful in that respect.
Right now we are truly living by the hour. Dakota is not fully conscious. They have been keeping him sedated so his brain can heal. Ventilators are assisting his breathing. When he is conscious he recognizes family members. He also seems to have motor functions on both left and right sides of his body. Both of these things are HUGE!
Our family is asking for help in the form of donations. Expenses add up fast. I do not want our parents to feel the need to make the 12 hour round trip journey regularly. Money raised from this campaign will go towards a month long Air BnB located right next to the hospital. We need to take care of ourselves so we can be there for Dakota. This allows us a place that feels more homey than a hotel and is also way more economical. Plus the location is key. Mom and dad can take turns sleeping at the hospital and in a real bed without fear of how long it will take them to get to the hospital. This will also allow for out of town family to come stay during the recovery process. We are looking at several months of recovery.
We feel incredibly strange asking for donations, but we know we need help.
Any amount is beyond appreciated. We have set the limit high so the campaign will stay open.
