My father recently had a bad accident on his riding mower when it slipped down his backyard over the edge of a cliff. As a result, he broke his back and had to have emergency surgery. It is an absolute miracle from God that he survived the fall or that he can walk!

As a result of the injury, he cannot work and is not eligible for many state benefits in his situation. He has applied for Social Security (SSI), but they won't even get him an appointment for that until late July.

Out of desperation, I am reaching out with this GoFundMe in hopes of getting him through at least the next 3-4 months until he can get back to work. Last year, he burned through his savings to care for my grandfather, so I'm hoping to get help for him since he used all he had for others in their time of need.
