<div>Leon is just 35 years old and a devoted dad to three young boys, aged 2, 3 and 10. His children are his whole world.
</div>

<div>For the past 18 years, Leon has worked hard as a self-employed plasterer. Anyone who knows him will tell you what a kind and decent man he is. He’s always been the first person to offer a helping hand when someone needs it.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Now, Leon and his family need our help.</strong>

</div>
<div>Days after turning 35, Leon was diagnosed with kidney cancer. He underwent major surgery to remove his kidney and an 8cm tumour. The results brought devastating news. Leon had an extremely aggressive form of kidney cancer called sarcomatoid renal cell carcinoma.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He started immunotherapy in December, hoping it would destroy any remaining cancer cells.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But just four months later, Leon and his family received heartbreaking news.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The cancer had spread to both lungs, returned at the site of his kidney and spread to the lymph nodes in his chest. Leon now has stage 4 cancer, and he has been told it is incurable.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Leon only received three rounds of immunotherapy before learning that his cancer was resistant to the treatment. His current NHS treatment is a daily tablet intended to slow the disease.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His family has been told that if this treatment doesn’t work, Leon may have as little as 12 months. If it does work, it could give him up to three years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His family is not ready to accept that this is all the time Leon has left.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Leon was a fit, active and healthy young man before his diagnosis. He loved going to the gym and boxing, playing football, supporting Everton and going on camping trips with his family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Most of all, he loves being a dad.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His boys are still so young. They need their dad beside them as they grow up, and Leon wants nothing more than to have more time to make memories with them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Your support will help Leon and his family access private consultations, tests and potential treatments, including newer options and specialist care that may only be available abroad.</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>Leon is self-employed and has no insurance. Alongside the cost of seeking treatment, his illness has placed huge financial pressure on his family. If all the money raised cannot be used toward treatment, it will help support Leon and his family through the difficult times ahead.
</div>

<div>Leon has already endured repeated infections, treatment side effects and hospital stays. Through all of this, his family is doing everything possible to give him more time.
</div>

<div><strong>More time to be a dad. More birthdays. More football. More camping trips. More ordinary days together that mean everything when you don’t know how many you have left.</strong>

<div><strong>No family should have to prepare to lose a dad at just 35 years old.</strong>
