On August 2, 2023, I collapsed due to a cardiac arrest, was revived, and rushed to the ER. By God's grace, I am grateful. I am a 2023 Heart Transplant recipient, which marked the beginning of my long road to recovery. Every day since has been a testament to resilience, hope, and the generosity of those who have supported me along the way.
Recently, in collaboration with the Indiana Donor Network (IDN), I have registered to participate in the 2026 Transplant Games representing Team Indiana. This June in Denver, Colorado, I will be competing in the 5k/Walk Run, Free Style Swim, and Relay Competition. This opportunity is not just a celebration of my second chance at life, but also a way to honor organ donors and inspire others facing similar challenges.
