<div>On April 30th, my boyfriend Curtis Vaughn’s life changed forever. He was in a catastrophic accident that left him disemboweled, with a punctured aorta, shattered bones, failing kidneys, and a critically injured liver and heart. Doctors told us he wasn’t going to make it.

<div>He spent nearly three months in a coma, most of it in a vegetative state, surviving only through machines — a ventilator, feeding tube, and heavy sedation. Every day felt like goodbye. But somehow, against all expectations, he woke up.

<div>Curtis just came home from the hospital a few days ago. It’s a miracle. But our battle isn’t over — it’s just beginning.
