Help Culture Stock Fund Sam's Mural

Sam Cervantes is an extremely talented local artist who is native to Aurora. He continuously and actively serves the community through his art and music. One example of his dedication to the people of this city is his work with Culture Stock the past 5 years to bring an awesome celebration of hip hop culture, that is both free and the family friendly.

Sam was recently chosen as one of three artists to paint a mural in downtown Aurora. He is the only artist from Aurora and, disappointingly, is also the only artist from the three not to be funded by the City of Aurora. The other two artists are. Although Sam’s mural will be on a privately owned building, it is very much a public asset for the City of Aurora. Sam has always been there for his community. As a community, lets make sure this talented and very generous artist gets the recognition and support that he very much deserves.

Our fundraising goal for the mural is $10,000, that will go directly to the artist. Funds raised over that amount will be split 50/50 between the mural fund and Culture Stock’s general fund to help us reopen in a new location.
