<div>A Splash of Colour Swimming is a community focused, inclusive and culturally sensitive 12-week program empowering people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to learn to swim with skill and confidence.

<div>Swimming is an important part of Australian culture. It provides a great and healthy opportunity to be socially inclusive and it positively contributes to general wellness, health and fitness and safety.

<div>For some people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, learning how to swim is a challenge due to the cost of private swimming lessons, the cost of modest swimwear, unaddressed water-related trauma, hair and skin management and complex cultural and historical generational barriers related to swimming.
</div>

<div>But as we all know - learning to swim is not a luxury. It is a life skill because you never know when you will need it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our holistic program will include online workshops to help people successfully manage body confidence, access modest swimwear (if required), learn self-calming strategies and do something powerful for them!
</div>

</div>
<div>Your financial support will help in the following ways:
</div>
<ul>
<li><strong>$50</strong> - will cover the cost for a swimming cap and goggles for one person.
</li>
<li><strong>$550 </strong>- will cover the costs for ONE person to complete the 12 week program.
</li>
<li><strong>$1,100</strong> - will cover the costs for TWO people to complete the 12 week program.
</li>
<li><strong>$5,500</strong> - will cover the costs for 10 people to complete the 12 week program.
</li>
<li><strong>$11,000 </strong>- will cover the cost for 20 people to complete the 12 week program.
</li>

<div>Your financial support will help to:

<li>subsidise swimming lessons
</li>
<li>secure swimming accessories such as large swimming caps for participants with voluminous hair
</li>
<li>secure modest swimming costumes (for those who require them for cultural and religious reasons)
</li>
<li>provide childcare/creche option so working parents / carers can attend swimming lessons
</li>
