Help Crystal Love beat cancer

As many of you reading this may know, Crystal was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in August 2017.  After getting a 2nd opinion and more testing it was determined Crystal in fact had 4 separate cancer spots spreading across her back and her behind.  This was a very grave diagnosis and a real hit to moral for the Love family and friends.

Since hearing her diagnosis Crystal has fought everyday to continue living her life as if nothing were wrong.  She still makes every one of Cierra's theater and color guard performances as well as all as Dakota's soccer practices and games as well as ramping up for his High School Graduation.  Crystal is aware that this fight will be a long hard road and resting is a crucial part, however she will not bring herself to miss any of her children's events no matter how small.  Being the best mother she can be is the most important aspect of her life and she will not let cancer take this from her.

Crystal began chemotherapy in September 2017, going every other Friday for 4 months with Shelby by her side the whole way through.  This process took Crystal and her family through the lowest of low's.  Multiple days at a time being stuck in bed, lacking the strength to do the type of things we take for granted on a daily basis.  Showering and brushing her teeth were now as hard as running a marathon.  As time progressed Crystal and her family developed a routine to help during these days and never took their eyes off the finish line of December, when her chemo would be over and another round of testing would reveal if the chemo was working.

Testing completed with overwhelmingly positive results, her spots reacted to the chemo treatment and shrunk,  except 1 spot on her back did not do so well.  Crystal and her family felt elated and with a short round of radiation (with no side effects) to reduce the size of the problem spot, spirits were high.

We are now in March 2018 and Crystal is still fighting.  This will be an ongoing treatment for many months or years but this is a fight that Crystal WILL WIN.   However this has impacted Crystal and Shelby on a financial level that is hard to imagine.  Shelby is a master crane operator that works across the country for long extended periods of time.  When the news arrived of Crystal's illness Shelby raced home to be by his wife's side day in and day out tending to her every need.  This has put an enormous financial burden on their family with medical bills and household bills piling up.  Crystal has been working throughout this entire ordeal using her vacation, sick, and personal days just to get treatment from the hospital with out taking a pay cut.

So I have set up this page asking for help on behalf of Crystal and the Love family.  I have worked with Crystal for many years now, talking almost on a daily basis.  Crystal is a proud person and will not ask for help in fear of putting others out, so I will do it for her.  Please donate what you can to help Crystal and her family fight this fight and do so with out the extra added stresses of doctor bills, medication, or even food for dinner.  Anyone that knows Crystal knows that she is the type of person that will bend over backwards for anyone.  She is much more then a co-worker to me and many people I have spoken to in HWI.  I think it's time we bend over backward for her.
