Welcome and thanks for coming! I'm Kristen Haskell, founder of Damzelfly.
For the past 3 years I have been designing, fit testing, and trying to contract manufacture Damzelfly pants for women in the united states. This ingenious concept was originally created by Swiss Alpinist Dode Kuntz in the late 90's and manufactured by Outdoor Research until founder Ron Gregg's death in 2003. A corporate takeover of O.R. led to the cancelation of the women specific Wild Roses line that included "The P-System"

This fly designed for women is a total game changer. As an ex ski patroller using these garments was revolutionary, I cried when they became to worn out to use any longer. I begged O.R. and other companied to adopt the design, to no avail.
After surviving breast cancer, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I am making it my life's mission to bring these pants back to improve the lives of women and girls.
I have self funded this mission thus far, but the obstacles I am facing due to my limited funds is making extremely hard to bring this product back to the market. My commitment to inclusive sizing, sustainable materials, and US manufacturing are all factors that increase cost and decrease partner options.
Without additional funding it will be impossible to get a line out and start serving women and girls. The more we raise the more types of garments we can manufacture more quickly. Hiking Pants, Leggings, Snow Pants, Long Underwear, Jeans, Work Pants, Overalls, etc.
