Help Cris Rebuild After Escaping Abuse

Hi all! I am helping fundraise for my dear friend Cris.

Cris went abroad to live with his partner, but had to end the relationship after months of toxicity and abuse. As a foreigner he had little knowledge of laws and resources and received constant threats from his now ex and her family to get back together or they'd find a way to send him to jail or worse. One day after receiving a tip from his ex's sister that his ex and a group of people were on their way to his home, fearing for his safety, he grabbed what little he could and fled, only to learn later that they trashed and destroyed the home after not being able to locate him. They stole his belongings and continued their threats. We're asking for support during this difficult time so he can pay for an attorney, restart his life in a new location, pay for damages caused to the rental property, and prepare for what lies ahead.
