We are a team of passionate individuals based in Australia and India who want to create an impact to end violence and abuse against women in all forms.
We do this via:
1. Inspiring individual women to use the "I'm safe Personal App" for their own safety by invoking the power of family & community.
2. Empower organizations to use the "I'm safe Org version of the app" for their women students/employees/volunteers so they can reach out for help when they need it.
We have spent 2+ years in user research/prototypes and development and have managed to get a beta app into the app store.
the funds raised will help us launch phase 2 of the app which uses the geotagging / blockchain ledger and IOT and many more techs to make sure our women feel safe and are connected to a wonderful community that cares for them when they need support.

Violence against women remains devastatingly pervasive and starts alarmingly at their earlier stages of life. Across their lifetime,
- 1 in 3 women is subjected to physical or sexual violence.
- Every 11 minutes, a woman or a girl is killed in their home.
- Less than 40% of women who experience violence seek help.
- Less than 10% reach out to the police for help.
- 58% of women have changed their travel plans due to safety concerns.
- 74% of them have experienced harassment at work.
- In countries like India, 95% of working women work in informal sectors with no mechanisms to report harassment at work.
- 80% experiencing domestic abuse at their homes reported that it had a negative impact on their quality of production at work.
These numbers have remained largely unchanged over the past decade.
