<div>This sculpture revisits the modern Greek folklore about The Three Sisters of Fate visiting newborns to spin and weave the tapestry of their new life, determining the events of their existence, then deciding when to cut the cord of the tapestry marking their death. The tale evokes strong emotions, whether it's awe, fear, or wonder. It's a poignant balance between destiny and free will, and mysteries that lie beyond understanding.

<div>The Fates residing in the Blackrock desert amidst the violent sandstorms seems a fitting dwelling place. They are both beautiful and terrible as a phenomenon of the natural world. These are the sisters, wives, mothers, witches and crones who bring our existence to bear, create the garden of our lives, then determine when we must peter out and die.
