<div>Several years ago, I purchased this historic church in Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary, to protect it from being lost and to give it a meaningful new future. Since then, I have invested years of work, personal sacrifice and my own resources into preserving the building and planning its restoration.

<div>My aim is to transform the church into a welcoming Christian arts and well-being centre where people can reflect, connect, learn and take part in positive community activities.

<div>The restored church could provide space for:

<div>* Christian fellowship, reflection and well-being activities
</div>
<div>* Music, art, talks and educational events
</div>
<div>* Weddings, celebrations and community gatherings
</div>
<div>* Children’s activities and family events
</div>
<div>* Displays exploring the life of Jesus Christ, Christian history and art
</div>
<div>* A planned educational exhibition relating to the Shroud of Turin

<div>The building has beautiful original features, including approximately 15 stained-glass windows. Some remain largely intact, while others have damaged or missing sections. However, the work required goes far beyond the windows.

<div>The church also needs repairs and improvements involving:

<div>* Stained-glass conservation and temporary weatherproofing
</div>
<div>* Stonework and traditional building repairs
</div>
<div>* Electrical wiring and safety improvements
</div>
<div>* Insulation, heating and draught reduction
</div>
<div>* Internal walls and partitions
</div>
<div>* Flooring, tiling and practical facilities
</div>
<div>* Materials, equipment and specialist professional advice
</div>

<div>Our initial fundraising target is €20,000. This will help us begin the most urgent work needed to make the building safer, drier and more usable while protecting its historic character.

<div>This is a long-term project, but every repair completed brings us closer to reopening the church as a place of faith, heritage, creativity, well-being and community.
</div>

<div>We will share regular photographs, videos and progress updates so supporters can see the work being carried out and understand how donations are being used.
</div>
