Help Beau the mad rescue cat from Romania!

Just under 2 months ago I decided to cheer myself up after a tough 18 months and adopt a crazy sounding character of a cat! He never had the best start in life with 5 homes behind him in only 15 months of life so there was no way we were going to let him down. We were immediately in love with him as much as him foster mummy is who has been a great support through this so far. 

Sunday night he came home dragging his back leg and limping badly, vets and an X-ray followed to told he has broken his femur in what they can only assume was possibly caused by a bump from a car or bike, bad fall or potentially even a kick (that thought breaks my heart and trying to put that to the back of my mind with the horror stories you do hear about!) 

He is insured but here is where I learn that the £1000 per condition limit isn’t even going to cover half of the overall bill - I was offered the cheaper option of amputation but I can’t even bring myself to think of looking at him without all 4 legs and feel extreme guilt for the rest of his life.

I am at a loss as to what to do......especially this time of year with 2 children, so soon after an astonishing car repair bill plus endless legal fees as going through a divorce whilst trying to also sell my house to downsize (cue xfactor style sympathy music here ha!) can’t believe I am already facing this after rescuing him only 6 weeks ago!

A few people have suggested turning to go fund me to see what help if any can be found from fellow animal lovers and Beau fans - good job this loveable Romanian rogue is worth every penny!
