<div>My name is Kim and I set up this GoFundMe to raise money for my brother, Craig, and sister-in-law, Sherry. <strong>My brother found out today, September 5th, that he needs to have emergency spinal surgery tomorrow or there is the possibility that he will be paralyzed.</strong> He has sharp bone spurs pressing against his spinal cord as well as compressed discs. Upon finding this out, he was immediately admitted into the hospital. The recovery for this surgery is lengthy, with the first two weeks being that Craig will not be able to bend, lift his arms, or lift anything at all. With a physical job as a landscaper, it could be months before Craig is able to return to work. <strong>I am trying to raise this money to help ease some of the financial stresses that they will endure in the coming months while he is out of work.</strong>

<div>I am also thinking that a meal train might be helpful for the first week or two if local friends and family are able to help with that to ease some of Sherry's burden.
