HELP CRAIG DERRY’S VOICE STUDIO FOR THE YOUTH

My name is Hollywood Anderson and I’m raising money for Craig Derry, an amazing voice coach and mentor to kids throughout NYC. Craig has touched so many lives, not just through music but as a friend, father figure, and guiding light to many artists navigating the music industry.

 

When Covid-19 shut down the studio space that he used to teach his vocal classes, Craig and the youth he mentors in all aspects of life lost the community center that brought them together. When I first moved to New York, I came to be an actor and a comic but Craig heard me humming one day and decided to help me find my true voice. At the time I was homeless (living at the studio) and Craig showed me nothing but love and support as a kid from Florida coming to NYC to chase my dreams. I am not the only person that Craig has helped, there are countless others. Craig always finds a way to help the youth even after the studio shut down. By reopening a new voice studio to call home, I can’t wait to see how many more kids in NYC will find their voice like he helped me find mine.
