Help Craig beat Colon Cancer

Recently, my brother Craig Johnson was diagnoised with Colon Cancer. The mass is too large to be removed. The mass is pressing against his kidneys and this was causing near kidney failure. Last week a stint was placed in one kidney and the other kidney had a Nephrostomy tube inserted.
On Friday he will have a temporary colostomy bag attached to help with the pain he is experiencing.He will also have a chemo port inserted. The plan is to begin chemo in the next few weeks in hopes of shrinking the mass and then removing it.
To be quiet honest, we are in shock! He is 47 years old with no history of colon cancer in our family. The good news is there is no sign of cancer in any other organs other than a few small spots in the lining of his stomach.
For those of you, who know Craig, you know that he is a kind hearted soul who works hard and believes in God, Family/Friends, his country and Alabama Football.
Craig has served his country both in the Marine Corp (once a Marine, always a Marine) and Air National Guard. While serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom, he was injured when the humvee he was patrolling in drove over an IED. Thankfully, no one lost their life but injuries were sustained. Craig never wavered. Craig stood strong in battle and he will stand strong in this fight against cancer.
Because of his service and status as a combat veteran, we assumed all his medical care would be covered. WRONG!
Craig is still required to pay for his care. Already medical cost is growing. Co-pays, deductibles, CT scans, lab work & doctor visits are adding up. Craig has no other insurance and continuing to work is difficult and may not be an option in the future. The next few months will be tough but Craig has fought tough battles before and may have come out scared but not beaten. He will not be beaten by cancer.
We will win this battle and we ask that you join us.
