I am embarrassed to ask this of my friends and family, but I truly need help. Right now, I’m unable to keep myself afloat, as the cost of buying oil for my car daily—on top of other unexpected expenses—has made it very difficult to keep up with my bills. My car recently broke down, and while my dad is thankfully able to fix it, I need help raising money to bring him down here and cover the cost of Ubers or a rental car in the meantime. It feels unfair to put the burden of covering my portion of the bills on my roommates, as we are all struggling in this economy, but I can’t manage this alone. I have tried to gather money by selling personal items and declutter, but it’s not enough. Any support—whether through a donation or even just sharing this page—would go directly toward covering these urgent costs and helping me get back on my feet.
