Help Cover Sid's vet costs

Our cat Sid (Sidney, The Pint Lion, etc) suddenly became very ill a couple days ago. We rushed him to VSEC in Philly at 2am and it looks hopeful. We've caught what looks like kidney disease but early enough we are likely to be able to manage it. The costs associated are very high (around $3000). I have managed to cover around $2200 with a credit card and my bank account. Unfortunately my car is also in the shop for major repairs and I'm not sure how to cover the expected costs from that and the balance of Sid's medical bill. In a world like ours I know there is more than enough suffering calling out for attention , so if you can't afford to help our or you feel your funds are better placed elsewhere I understand. But if you're able to help out any little bit will help and be appreciated.
