There is SO much talent in Uganda! It’s the talent that brought me there to incorporate Kidsplosion this year! As I continue to celebrate youth talent and abilities around the globe, I am deeply heartbroken over the severe difficulties that most children have obtaining a basic education here! The school fees are too high for most. And the very few, jam packed, ‘free’ government schools still require cost for books, uniforms, meals, etc, which makes learning still impossible for most. Making matters worse, are children within rural areas who don’t have the resources to travel or pay to attend school! It’s absolutely painful to see SOO many children, with SOO much potential, crippled by their local limitations. Kidsplosion is now fully licensed in Uganda. We recently began a fundraiser on our website to raise funds for local children to attend school. However, we have more parents and schools seeking help than money to help them! I am begging you… PLEASE help us put these babies in school! Any amount helps! Our children in the US are able to get a K-12 education for free! Help us change lives by providing sponsored terms for students needing help!!!
ONLY 17% MAKE IT TO MIDDLE SCHOOL!
We gave away a suitcase full of toys, clothes, essentials into a local slum in Kampala. There was a school building right in the middle of the neighborhood, closed because none of the local children could afford to go. It was HEARTBREAKING!
We donated books to a local school in Kampala. Here I noticed basic needs/upkeep of schools are not being done because of severe lack of school fees paid. Funding delinquent school fees allows current schools to be maintained and remain open!
Aiding in school fees not only helps the students, it supports the schools needs for basic maintenance! This school, needs new roofing, as currently children are learning while getting very wet at times!
So, check this out! To my left is the Outstanding Founder of Ghetto Triplets (Amazing Dance Group you all Love) And to my Right, Mr. Huzaifa, an accomplished educator and country director of Kidsplosion Uganda…. Can you believe that BOTH of these Poweful Men had their K-12 educations sponsored! Imagine how many future leaders are currently limited by lack of education.
I’M DANCING FOR THEM!!!
There are many successful children’s groups in Uganda who dance to support their school fees and basic needs. But what about the children who are not fortunate enough to be in one of these groups? I am speaking for the MILLIONS of children who can’t dance. Let’s support them too!!
