<div>If you took the time to click on my post, first of all thank you. Hi everyone, my name is Cassandra. I am the proud owner and mommy to my sweet baby Max also known as Meex, chicken, nuppity puppers, mister max, and nuppers.

<div>I’ve had Max ever since he was a puppy and he has been the light of my life ever since then. Born the smallest of his litter, he turned out to be the biggest and strongest boy. Seriously, the man got some crazy strong legs that will wind you if he sits on your chest long enough. He is currently 9 years old but if you met him, you would never guess due to his lovable and energetic personality. Max loves everyone he meets. He is a very friendly prince and loves giving kisses and receiving them too. I never thought I would have to be making a Go Fund me but unfortunately here we are.

<div>Two days ago, Max started to act out of character. He wasn’t his normal self. He stopped eating, drinking, using the washroom and walking. If you know Max, he would never skip out on a walk or food. Especially food. This morning, he woke up very pale and with shallow breathing. He also could not control his bladder. I rushed to the emergency hospital with the fear that we would not make it in time. You could tell right away something was wrong because he absolutely hates car rides and he was super quiet and had no reaction. I tried to ask him for a kiss but he did not have the energy. At that point, I was praying for him to hold on long enough to get there. Thankfully we were able too. After about an hour, we got the news that they suspected two different sickness. The main one being Chronic Anemia. His red blood cell count is supposed to be 35-40, his was 15. He also has very low platelets. It’s suppose to be in the 70s, his is 14. The doctors believe there may be some internal bleeding as well due to his stool being black and there is blood. They will be keeping him over night. Based off all the tests that has to be done, i’ve already payed $5550 as a deposit and was advised I will have to pay another $2000 tomorrow. The expected cost for everything if he has to stay longer for medical care is $12000.

<div>If you know me personally, you know I love my sweet boy with all my heart and I will do anything in my power to save him. I also don’t like having others to take care of me financially. It has gotten to the point where the costs are proving to be high and I do not want to give up fighting. He has so much more life to live and so many more people to play with and meet. I am asking you now, If you can spare anything at all to help me save my baby. My world would be a very empty place without him. If you aren’t able to help financially, a prayer and keeping him in your thoughts will go a long way.
