Hello everyone,

My name is Savanna. Our family has unexpectedly lost our beautiful 4 yr old French Bulldog named Louie this past Thursday. He was loved more than he'll ever know and left paw prints on our hearts forever.

We are now left with his medical expenses from trying our hardest to save him and sadly losing him. These past few weeks have been such a whirlwind, as our family has been preparing to move to a new home when Louie had gotten sick.

What started with him vomiting for a couple days, sent us to our local vet office. They examined him said he seem like he is having some GI Inflammation issues and gave us medicine. That worked for a couple of days, then he started vomiting again. This had sent us to our Emergency Vet for a x-ray to make sure he had no obstruction. After a long evening at the Emergency vet his x-ray came back with no obstruction. So we were sent home with more medicine. After being home and trying to get him to eat again, he stopped eating completely. Our vet had suggested syringe feeding him baby food. So now he was being syringe feed bone broth and baby food. He seemed to perk up after a few days, I thought we were in the clear! Called the vet to update them, they prescribed him an appetite stimulate medicine which we were going to give him that morning. We all went to bed woke up early and Louie was standing in our room and was drooling. Cleaned him up and took him outside to go to the bathroom. When he came back inside he climbed into him bed and was breathing very rapidly, I woke my husband up and that when we realized our fears were coming true. We were losing our beautiful pup, my husband woke our children so they could say their goodbyes and we gave Louie all the hugs, kisses and pets while he crossed that rainbow bridge.
