<div>Approximately five years ago, Jesus suffered a devastating car accident that left him in a vegetative state. Since then, his life and the lives of our entire family have changed completely. He requires around-the-clock care and depends entirely on others for his daily medical needs.

<div>He requires numerous medications, specialized nutrition administered through a feeding tube, oxygen, tracheostomy care, medical supplies, equipment, and other essential care. His medical needs are extensive, and the cost of providing this care has been approximately $25,000 per month.

<div>Until now, Medicaid has helped cover much of the cost of his care. Unfortunately, his family has been informed that his Medicaid coverage will end on September 30, 2026. Beginning October 1, his parents face the frightening uncertainty of how they will continue providing the medical care and supplies their son depends on every single day.

<div>For the past five years, his parents have remained faithfully by his side, caring for him and making sure he is safe, comfortable, and receives everything he needs. Now they are facing a financial burden that no family could reasonably manage alone.

<div>As his aunt, it is heartbreaking for me to watch my nephew and his parents face this uncertainty. That is why I am creating this fundraiser and asking our family, friends, community, and anyone who may come across his story for help.

<div>All funds raised will go directly to his family to help with his ongoing medical and care-related expenses, including medications, specialized nutrition and feeding supplies, oxygen, tracheostomy supplies, medical equipment, and other essential needs.
