I will be on medical leave for 12 weeks, and we will need to go back to Houston every three months for follow-up scans.

<div>The doctor said the first two years are a high risk for recurrence of cancer, so the travel to and from Houston for scans will be critically important to make sure any recurrence is caught early and treated.
