Help Cover Bernie's Medical Bills!
When Amy first found Bernie he was, as the vets described him, “dull and dumpy”. We thought for sure he was a goner, but he soldiered on. He was heart worm positive, had a few sprained joints, and a pretty bad case of skin disease. Slowly but surely he began to heal and his walls came down to reveal the sweet and gentle baby we all know and love today.
Baby Bern recently developed a cough and some GI symptoms. At a vet visit this month, Lisa was told that Bernie might have pneumonia and prescribed some antibiotics, a low fat diet, and lots of rest (since he loves playing with his roommate pup, Daisy). A radiologist then reviewed his chest X-ray which revealed some concerns that require further testing.
So far his bills have reached $773 and will continue to climb with further tests. Fingers crossed it is in fact pneumonia or something treatable with antibiotics, worst case would be lung cancer or irreparable damages from his previous heart worms.
A note from his sweet pup mama, Lisa: If you would like to help pitch in with Bernie's medical bills and are able, he and I would be eternally grateful. I know times are tough on all of us so if money is tight please just send good vibes and kind thoughts

Bernie seems to be feeling pretty good so far, and I will make sure to post updates on his health! Let's help our girl Lis out, y'all! She and the whole Galloway family are always so generous with their time and resources when an animal is hurt or in need of attention. Again, this is such a tough time for all, but if you or anyone you know are able to contribute, please share this link!
Enjoy these EXTREMELY cute photos of Bernie :)
