Help couple w/buying used car after bad accident

A few weeks ago, my friend, Leo Rutledge had gotten into a car accident in such that the front part of his car is totaled/undriveable.  Their insurance wouldn't cover the cost to repair the car & the cost to repair it was too expensive/worth more than the car itself.  He and his wife now have to drive one car between the two of them which is very difficult as their jobs are far apart.  Leo had to quit his part-time job which was very much needed to make ends meet and it's challenging to share the car between the 2 of them going to separate jobs.  Rather than getting into further debt with putting $ down for a new car with monthly payments they can't afford, I'm requesting that people give any amount out of the kindness of your hearts to help Leo & his wife out so he can buy an affordable/reliable car outright without any payments. I'm hoping that $3,000 to $5,000 could be raised so he can buy a good used car to relieve the financial, mental, emotional drain on them.
