About a year and a half ago, I started seriously working on making a living with my art. In that time I've done some craft fair selling and I have had a booth at the Hive Market at Trolley Square for the past couple months.

Over the past month or so, the opportunity to open a community art studio has presented itself. I feel like this is the culmination of all of the work I've put in to my own art journey.

The most special part about being able to launch a project like this is being able to help other artists begin or foster their own craft.

Being able to also pair the studio with very affordable child care allows artists like me, who have children, to easily carve out time to create.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help fund the security deposit for the space, and the remaining supplies needed to open the doors.

This is definitely the biggest project I've ever undertaken, but I am beyond excited!

The fundraiser will be live until the goal is reached.
