Help Corrie Beat Lymphoma!

Donation protected
***UPDATE***

We are deeply saddened to announce that on Sunday, February 24th, Corrie lost her battle with Lymphoma. Her infectious laugh and her beautiful soul will be missed by many. Corrie left behind her 3 year old son (Noah) and her Husband (Andy), and unfortunately she did not have any health or life insurance. Andy was left with thousands of dollars in medical bills, he has been unable to work during the past few months due to caring for Corrie and their son Noah, and now there are funeral costs. We are asking for any help, whether it be financially or through thoughts and prayers. Thank you for all of your love and support during this devastating time <3

****

This is one of the most difficult things to write. Corrie, a loving mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend needs our help.

In October of 2017, Corrie was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Large B-Cell Lymphoma and spent the remainder of 2017 and the beginning of 2018 receiving chemotherapy and stem cell therapy. On May 15th, 2018 she was declared cancer free.

On December 28th, 2018, we received the devastating news that the cancer has returned and is now in Corrie's blood stream and bone marrow.

Corrie is currently in the hospital in Calgary where she is starting chemotherapy in attempt to treat the cancer while doctors wait for one of 2 medical trials to come available. At this time, we do not have definitive dates or locations for the trials, but there has been mention of Toronto and Vancouver, which will require travel and accommodations.

The better part of a year has been spent away from her 2 year old son, Noah. Her husband, Andy, has been providing for their family while also raising their son. Corrie's doctors and many of her treatments take place in Calgary which requires a lot of travel and long periods away from her family.

As Corrie prepares for another fight with this ruthless disease, we are hoping to help alleviate the financial stress. There are many costs including childcare, travel, medications. Anything you might be willing to donate during this overwhelming time of grief will help Corrie focus her energy on battling her cancer.

Funds will be directly applied to Corrie's care, supporting Noah and Andy while she puts up the biggest fight of her life, and any other unexpected costs that will inevitably arise as a result of the cancer treatment.
