Help Corina Johnston get elected to FCC
At very short notice I contested the local elections in 2019 and narrowly missed out for the final seat. Although unelected, I decided to continue to work and represent the people of the area given the lack of real progress on the provision of schools, crèche and afterschool facilities, affordable housing, public transport, a Garda station and public services. I am pleased that on foot of our representations and campaigns, we have delivered on a number of crucial projects over the last 5 years all of which we proposed and pursued.
I am a mother of 2 children who has lived in Donabate for the last 21 years. I am keenly aware that while the area will grow in population to over 20,000 in the coming years, the necessary infrastructure, road upgrades, school and childcare places, and services are not coming quick enough to meet the needs of the people and I will continue to campaign at local and national level for these vital facilities. I can be even more effective on behalf of our growing community if elected as a councillor in the upcoming local elections on 7th June.
Running a successful campaign requires resources and to reach every voter in the electoral area, I need your help. Any donation, however small, is greatly appreciated.
