<div>Cori who is a true leader, role model and advocate for women in sport, unfortunately has suffered a devastating injury that has turned her life upside down.

<div>During a training session, Cori tore her quad completely off the bone, taking part of her hip with it.
</div>
<div>The complex injury was not only excruciatingly painful but also severely debilitating, requiring urgent surgery and will require months of intensive rehab and a long road to recovery.

<div>This isn’t just a setback, it’s a life-altering event for someone whose self-employed, very involved in the football world and always goes out of her way to help others.
</div>

<div>As a self-employed player, athlete and mentor, Cori doesn’t have the luxury of paid leave or worker's compensation.

<li>Daily out of home living costs during a recovery period where she can’t work

<div>She’s spent countless hours coaching and mentoring young girls and women, helping pave the way for the next generation of athletes. Whether it’s advocating for equal funding, organising community events, giving up her Friday nights to help coach the future gen of footballers or staying behind to pack up after training, Cori has always given more than she’s taken.
