Marianne is raising funds for Cooper, a friend’s beloved cat, after a sudden medical crisis nearly ended Cooper’s life ten days ago. Cooper developed diabetic ketoacidosis and became critically ill, creating a terrifying emergency for the person who loves him most. Thankfully, Cooper is now recovering, but this one crisis has already led to more than $10,000 in veterinary bills. On top of that, Cooper now needs insulin, which means there will be ongoing costs to manage his health and give him the care he needs moving forward.

The funds raised for Cooper will help pay down the veterinary debt from his emergency treatment, as well as immediate follow-ups to assure he is still recovering well. Cooper is his owner’s whole life, and keeping up with these bills while making sure Cooper gets everything he needs is daunting. Cooper is only 10, and should have many years left if his medical needs can be properly and continually addressed. If you’re able to help, any support would mean so much for Cooper and his owner. Even a small donation can make a real difference as they work to keep Cooper healthy, comfortable, and on the road to recovery. Any funds not needed for Cooper will be donated to a local cat rescue. Thank you for any help you can give! It is truly appreciated.
