<div>Hello, my name is Jacinta Phillips, and I am the proud mother of 16-year-old <strong>Cooper Thompson</strong>. I am reaching out to share an incredible opportunity that has come Cooper's way: he has been offered a position in the<strong> Full-Time UK Academy squad for 2025 with Sunshine Coast FC Fire.</strong> This is a monumental achievement and the culmination of years of dedication and hard work.

<div>Cooper's journey in sports began at the age of five, starting with basketball, which he still enjoys. His passion soon shifted to football (soccer), where he began playing at age eight. He quickly demonstrated exceptional talent, moving up through the ranks to play on the u9’s team and continuing to excel. Despite a setback at the u13 level due to a challenging coaching experience, Cooper’s love for the game was reignited when he joined a supportive local club, leading to an outstanding season with the u15’s team.

</div>
<div>Our family’s decision to move to the Sunshine Coast opened new doors for Cooper. He joined Coolum Football Club, where he played in the u16's team, helping them win the Division 2 Grand Final. Under the guidance of a passionate new coach, Cooper pushed himself further by playing in the u23's and Men's Prems teams, and achieved remarkable growth in his game, leading to his current opportunity.

</div>
<div>This journey has not been easy, and Cooper has committed countless hours to training, including daily gym sessions. His dream of playing football professionally is within reach, but we need your support to make it happen. The funds raised will help cover the costs of Cooper's training at the academy in Bishop's Castle, where he will also complete his Year 12 studies through distance education. Not only will he be competing with teams such as Arsenal, Manchester United, South Hampton, Everton, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, but he will also celebrate his 18th birthday overseas—a truly life-changing experience.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The total cost, excluding flights, is $45,000</strong>. We are hopeful to raise as much as possible to support Cooper’s dream, and any contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We deeply appreciate your kindness and support in helping Cooper take this next step in his football career.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Thank you for believing in him!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With gratitude and love,
</div>
<div>Jacinta, Cooper, and Family
