Help Cookie fight FIP

Hi, my name is Seema Bhandari. I'm from Kathmandu Nepal and I'm trying to raise funds for my cat (Cookie) who has been recently diagnosed with a wet form of FIP(Feline Infectious Peritonitis).

Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is a viral disease of cats caused by certain strains of a virus called the feline coronavirus. When a cat gets FIP, it is progressive and almost always fatal. Unfortunately, and to my deep sorrow, Cookie contracted this deadly virus.

Cookie is a10 years old, male and neutered. We had rescued him from the streets and we have been loving and taking care of him ever since then. We never thought we had to face this day, this makes us so sad. I cry every day to see him in this condition.

My heart sank and fell to pieces when the vet told me this news. After some moments of feeling the world is falling apart, I gathered myself and decided to do something despite my weak financial background. I just cannot sit quietly and let my cat succumb to the disease.

Hence, I have decided to give a shot at saving his life by getting him 84 doses of GS4. This antiviral has been proven to reverse the disease in many cats around the world.

But the problem is, as Cookie is the sixth cat in Nepal to be diagnosed with an FIP, here we have very limited resources and information available to treat this disease. Therefore, I must get the injections from abroad.

The sad part is, I do not have a job and most of my pocket money goes to the treatment and care of street animals in Nepal, so it is very difficult for me to complete his treatment.

One vial of GS4 costs around 80 USD, and lasts for 4 to 5 days. I will need around 22 to 25 vials to last 84 days of treatment. There will be shipping charges of around 180 to 200 USD. So in total, the cost will be about 3000(AUD) to put Cookie under 84 doses of GS4 injections and under 84 days of observation.

The treatment won't be completed without your support, please help Cookie to fight FIP and get back to his normal life where he eats well, plays exuberantly, and enjoys his life to the fullest with our unconditional love and support.
