Help Local Store Owner After Brutal Stabbing

Donation protected

Jason Ro; a beloved small business owner in the Quinte Area was brutally sprayed with bear mace, beaten and stabbed multiple times during an armed robbery on Oct 16th 2019 at 6:42pm by two assailants.  Jason is being held at Kingston General Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.  Since the incident, the convenience store has been closed.  While the store is closed, there are still bills to pay and future support needed.

Jason is a proud Canadian and would never ask for anything and that is why Jason works 7 days a week.  As his friend, I'd appreciated any support from this local community.

Lets show Jason and his family how supportive this community is.

Stay strong Jason.  Quinte is here for you.

Side note: there was a Telsa that was driving on Cannifton around the time of the robbery, to my knowledge Telsa's have camera's and if there is a small chance that you see this message, we'd appreciate any more evidence to find these scumbags.  It was a black hyundai car around 6:42 - 6:48 pm on Cannifton rd N on Oct 16th.

Information on the story:

The men drove away going south on Cannifton Road North in what was believed to be a dark coloured Hyundai car.

The first male suspect is described as tall with a thin build, wearing red pants with a white stripe, a camouflaged hoodie, and carrying a dark coloured bag. The description of the second male is limited to just dark clothing.

Please contact Belleville Police with any information.
