<div>I am starting this fundraiser for an insulin pump for connor. Having this device will assist in a Healthier, Happier Future while living with Type 1 diabetes. A condition he will have for the rest of his life!

<div>Meet Connor: A Brave 11-Year-Old Living with Type 1 Diabetes.

<div>Connor was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at just 6 years old. After going to the doctors for a flu injection and Kerry mentioning a few concerns, this was something they never expected. They received a life changing phone call and they were admitted into Monash Children’s hospital. Since then, he has bravely managed his condition with 4 daily insulin injections, counting every carb he eats and making multiple life saving decisions daily.

<div>Now, as Connor prepares to transition into high school, he’s made a big and exciting decision: he’s ready to switch to an insulin pump!

<div>This pump will mean 1 injection a week.. instead of 28! 
</div>
<div>Assist in stabilising his blood sugar levels and greater freedom during a time when fitting in and feeling “normal” is so important.

<div>The only challenge? The cost. A diabetes pump comes with up to a $10,000 price tag—a cost that is unfortunately not covered by the public system.

<div>We’re reaching out to our greater community, friends, family and caring supporters to help make this life-changing device possible for Connor and his family.
