Hello, my name is Connie Sanchez. I’m coming to you all today asking for help to cover unexpected emergency costs. My husband had an unfortunate accident on 8/8 while spending family time with us. He had to get stitches on his calf due to two lacerations that were not properly treated at the hospital. Eventually, after the antibiotics were done, the worst started happening! We had to go BACK to the hospital on 8/15. My husband started encountering swelling, bruising, and extreme pain. On Friday, 8/15 in the morning, he started having a fever. Within minutes, his fever had skyrocketed, and I brought him to the hospital. Upon arrival, they admitted him, and that’s when the worst news was received. They found blood clots in his leg, there is a massive infection, and on top of everything, he is a diabetic, which makes matters so much worse. They have placed a drain in his calf to drain the infection, started him on blood thinners for the blood clots, and insulin for his diabetes. We have been in the hospital and are uncertain about how things are going to go. How long my husband will take to get back to work and he is the major provider of our household. We are asking our community for anything your heart may be able to share for any expenses, medical bills, and bills.
