On January 30th our bright and happy Connie was involved in a serious car accident.
She suffered a broken hip, crushed pelvis, fractured ribs, torn spleen, concussion and several deep lacerations that have resulted in over 10 surgeries and skin grafts. After multiple intubations she also received a tracheotomy.
However, she is still here! And thankful to be alive.
She has a long road of recovery ahead and her next step is a rehabilitation center.
As you can imagine, her current situation is a huge physical, emotional and financial stress.
