Help Con to record his debut album

Hi there!

Here's a little about me and why I am launching this campaign. Thanks for stopping by. I have a catalog of music written and composed that with your help I truly hope to be able to release into the world.

As I ponder ways to tell my musical story in the most rock & roll way possible, I quickly realise that the only one to tell, and the most interesting one at that, is in fact this one.

I move freelance as a music facilitator/therapist in the mental health services in my home county. This is the single most rewarding venture I have ever undertaken. It inspires me every day, it challenges me every day and it reminds me to be human every day. Music has informed so many elements of my life and I endeavor to support others in their pursuit of the same.

I have been writing original songs for over 15 years now, and have been lucky to share stages with some wonderful and inspiring artists over the past number of years as I learn my trade. I began recording and gigging my original work more actively over the past number of years (with the support of incredible band members and the incredible producer Dave Skelton) and have funded every element of that process myself along the way.

I released my debut EP in 2018 and have since released 2 more singles, sold out self promoted shows and had my work featured on national and international airwaves. I couldn't have achieved all of this without all the support I have received to date. It's that support that drives me.

The reason I am reaching out for help from you now is because I have, what I believe, to be some of my best creations and work waiting to be recorded - an album full of work in fact - and I need your help to make that happen. The reality over the past almost 2 years is that the live music scene has dried up and with that so have opportunities to sustain funding to regenerate into the recording and production process.

Every penny raised from this campaign will go directly into the recording and production of the album, the hiring of and collaboration with a network of musicians, and also every element of the release campaign including additional costs to ensure that the most professional and quality product at the end.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my project to date, to the various band members who have sacrificed so much time to be part of it. Thanks to all those who have given me the opportunity to showcase my music on stage as I learn my trade and to everyone who has purchased tickets over the years. Lastly, but not least, a huge thanks to my producer Dave, to musicians and friends Fintan, Neil, Kevin and my wife Gráinne who have all helped take these songs and this project to the next level. With your support we can go one step further.
