Help Comfort Walk Again

Happy Holidays to all. My name is Candiss and I come to you today with a pure heart. We never notice how blessed we are to have the small abilities that we do, or how blessed we are to have our love ones in our life everyday. On December 2nd 2017 a close friend of mine daughter was hit head-on at 60mph on Powder Springs Rd. while on the way to school for finals. She suffered two broken legs, her stomach was pushed into her chest, her splin was damaged, her toes broken, chemical burn from the battery, the steering wheel broke on her chest and she also lost 92% of her vision in her left eye. They actually had to use the Jaws of Life to get her out. After being in a coma for two days she was then placed in ICU due to blood clots and extra fluids they found. Comfort was released from the hospital due to no insurance on December 20th. Although we are very grateful, the transition from hospital to home has not been as easy as one would think.
Comfort comes from a single parent home in which her mother is a server. Her mother has not been able to work due to this. Bills are still coming and Comfort's medical expenses are as well. To fill her medicine was 700 dollars.
Comfort is in good spirits and is a strong young lady. She plans on walking real soon so she can get back to college where she is a junior at Georgia Highlands College. Her major is Bio-Chemistry and she has a minor in Exercise Science.
