<div>A woman named Colleen reached out to us needing help with a storage unit clean-out. As we talked, she opened up about what she’s been going through. After her husband passed away on Christmas Day, everything changed. He was a U.S. veteran who served our country, and shortly after his passing, his pension was taken away. That left Colleen buried in debt—over $4,000—and struggling just to keep up.

<div>Because of the financial hardship, her storage unit payments fell behind, and the unit was scheduled to be auctioned off. Inside were countless personal and sentimental items—memories of a life built together. Hearing her story broke our hearts.
